Breast Friends have a small and friendly sub-group who meet once a month at The Sacred Heart Church Centre, Glascote Road, Tamworth.  Meetings take place on the first Monday of each month (except on Bank Holidays).

Their calendar last year included a talk in March by Christopher Williams' Dad about fundraising in Chris's memory for a school in Africa.  In July we had an entertaining talk on Pelargoniums, including many plants to see and an opportunity to purchase.

There was no meeting in August but some of the ladies went to the local pub for a drink and a chat.  In September the group welcomed Tom Speak and his 'Next One Fashions'.  There was, needless to say, much banter and bargains galore!  The October meeting included a demonstration of Aloe Vera products, with sampling and an opportunity to stock up on supplies.

Tamworth members have enjoyed the main group visits to Thoresby Hall and Tutbury Castle and many attended the Christmas party at Good Hope.

The daughter of one of our Tamworth members successfully completed the Great North Run and has rasied over £600 for Breast Friends.  Many thanks to her, and well done!
